Christmas Testing Round 3

5 November 2026 · Copy for the Christmas files you sent on 4 November, organised by the six new test ad sets they will launch into, inside your Christmas Creative Testing campaign. Each set has one shared pool of five texts and five headlines, plus a description, used by every creative in that set; Meta mixes them. Every line is tagged New, Previously approved or From the creative. Please approve or reject the lines and each creative. Three files are held back from this round and shown at the end with the reason. Nothing is live yet.

How to review: Anything with a pencil is editable, just click and type over it. Mark each one Approve or Reject. Your edits and choices save to this page automatically and Casey can see them, so you can close it and come back whenever you like.

When you are done, press Send to Casey at the bottom of the page. That tells Casey you have finished. You do not need to email anything, your marks and edits are saved on this page and Casey can already see them.

Three typos on the pictures
Icicle (2) says "abot 30 seconds", Christmas Round One (9) says "smells devine", and on the Cook and Tomato pages there are two more. Could you re-export those before we upload, as you did for round 2?

R3 Set 1 · Icicle statics: which picture sells Icicle?5 creatives · 5 texts · 5 headlines · 1 description

Five Icicle stills: your Starlight brand still, two customer lines, the kiln, and the three-step refill.

Why this copy: your best Icicle ads so far sell the pottery, not the scent ("New glaze fresh from the kiln", Ad 983, and the pottery still that leads round 2 Set 1), while the Starlight scent videos in round 2 have struggled. So every text leads on the Pott, and the five stills tell us which kind of Icicle picture to make more of. Two texts and one headline are new; the rest are already approved.

P1 · Meet Icicle Testing: the picture Source: New EditedRevised since your edit

Meet Icicle, our new limited edition Christmas Pott. It's a pale blue and white glaze that changes in the light, and every one is handmade, so no two are quite the same. When the candle has finished, keep your Icicle Pott out all winter and simply pop in whatever candle refill you fancy next.

We have revised this line since you edited it.

P2 · No two the same Testing: the picture Source: New EditedRevised since your edit

Every Icicle Pott is handmade, so no two are quite the same, and the pale blue and white glaze changes in the light. It's our limited edition Pott for Christmas, with Starlight inside: bergamot, mandarin and a little cinnamon. When the candle has finished, the Pott stays. Simply pop in a new candle refill, in whatever scent you fancy next.

P3 · Our Christmas Potts are here Testing: the picture Source: Previously approved EditedRevised since your edit

Our Christmas Potts are here! There's Holly in a deep forest green, Gingham with its hand-painted red and white check, and the new Icicle, a pale blue and white glaze that changes in the light. Each one comes with a Christmas candle in Noël, Fir or Starlight. When the candle has finished, simply keep your Pott and pop in whatever scent you fancy next...

Our Christmas candles are made for December, of course, but... The Pott they come in isn't. When the candle has finished, your Holly, Gingham or Icicle Pott simply stays out with whatever scent you fancy next, and it's ready to come back into its own next Christmas. R3 Set 2 · Holly scent reviews: which line sells?5 creatives · 5 texts · 5 headlines · 1 description

Four Holly stills and one short loop, each with a different customer line about the scent or the quality.

Why this copy: the five texts and five headlines already running on your best Christmas ad (Ad 1000), word for word, so the results read straight across from round 2 Set 1. Set 3 runs gift lines in the same format on Holly, so between the two sets we learn whether a scent line or a gift line sells Holly better in November. Only the description is new.

P1 · A proper present Testing: the customer line Source: Previously approved EditedRevised since your edit

A proper present, and one they'll keep for years. A Pott Starter Pack is a handmade Pott, a candle refill and a matching MatchPott, all in one lovely box. When the candle has finished, the Pott stays, and they simply choose whatever scent they fancy next...

We have revised this line since you edited it.

P2 · Know someone who always has a candle lit? Testing: the customer line Source: Previously approved EditedRevised since your edit

Know someone who always has a candle lit? A Pott might be just the thing for them. It's a handmade Pott with a candle inside, and when the candle has finished they simply pop in a new candle refill and keep the Pott. It's rather a lovely thing to give, and even nicer to receive.

We have revised this line since you edited it.

P3 · It keeps going Testing: the customer line Source: Previously approved EditedRevised since your edit

The nice thing about giving a Pott is that it keeps going. Each Pott is handmade in the UK, so no two are quite the same. Once the candle has finished, they just pop in a new candle refill, in the same scent or whatever they fancy next. So it's still there on their shelf, with a new scent, long after the day itself.

We have revised this line since you edited it.

P4 · Hayley's review Testing: the customer line Source: Previously approved EditedRevised since your edit

"Absolutely love these pots and the candles smell so good! My bestie and I unknowingly bought them for each other last Christmas and now I'm hooked, I've even subscribed to the seasonal box." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hayley C. A Pott Starter Pack has everything in one box: a handmade Pott, a candle refill and a MatchPott. After that, they only ever need the candle refill.

We have revised this line since you edited it.

P5 · Not sure which scent they'd like? Testing: the customer line Source: Previously approved EditedRevised since your edit

Not sure which scent they'd like? It needn't be perfect. They keep the Pott, and once the candle has finished they can pop in a new refill in whichever scent they fancy. The Starter Pack comes in Petite, Standard or Grand size. Lovely for getting ahead with Christmas!

R3 Set 4 · Keep it, refill it: which creator story sells?4 creatives · 5 texts · 5 headlines · 1 description

Four creator videos about the same idea, the Pott stays and the candle changes: switching scents with the seasons, the boyfriend who only buys refills, last year's Pott coming back out, and the present from a brother still in use a year on.

Why this copy: each video makes the refill point in its own way, so every text is about keeping the Pott and changing the candle, and none of them names a single scent or Pott that would be wrong on another video. One text is new; the other four are already approved (two running on Ad 1000, two from round 2 Set 4, Refilling). All five headlines are already approved.

Creator: "My favourite thing about a refillable candle is switching scents with the seasons"

FileChristmas Round One - META Ads Content (21).mp4

20.7s, creator in a red cardigan with a Holly Pott, lights Fir. Voiceover (machine transcript, check against the audio): "My favorite thing about having a refillable candle is being able to switch up the scents with the seasons. I get so excited to try a new scent... ...and give my home a whole new feel. ...a whole new feel. Now that it's Christmas... ...it's time for Fir. This scent is so fresh and woody, honestly, it just smells like Christmas in a candle. I love that something as simple as switching out my candle can make my home feel ready for a whole new season."

Creative 2 · Video

Creator: "This is my boyfriend's favourite candle..."

FileChristmas Round One - META Ads Content (22).mp4

19.3s, same creator with an Icicle Pott and the Starter Pack box. Voiceover (machine transcript, check against the audio): "This is my boyfriend's favourite candle because you never have to pay full price for it again, you just buy the refills. Once you've got the pot you can keep reusing it and just switch out the candle refills when you need a new one. So you get to keep the pot you love and I particularly love this blue one... ...without having to buy a whole new candle every time. It is such a clever way to make your candles go further. This is my boyfriend's favourite candle because you never have to pay full price for it again, yo..." The opening says "you never have to pay full price for it again". That is a price claim in the video; please check you are happy with it before it runs.

Creative 3 · Video

Creator: "Remember this little beauty from last Christmas?"

FileChristmas Round One - META Ads Content (27).mp4

24.7s, creator with last year's Holly Pott and a new Christmas refill. Voiceover (machine transcript, check against the audio): "Remember this little beauty from last Christmas? Because there's no need to replace your favorite Christmas candle when you can simply refill it. Pott Candles Christmas refills make it so easy to bring back those beautiful festive scents. Was giving your favorite Pott another Christmas. We are certainly ready for another season of cozy evenings, twinkling lights, and all those lovely Christmas moments." Music continues, gentle instrumental. Voiceover fades out. "Remember this little beauty from last Christmas? Beca..." It talks to people who already own a Pott, so cold buyers may not see themselves in it. That is part of what this set tells us.

Creative 4 · Video

Creator: "My brother got me this for Christmas last year and I'm still using it today"

FileChristmas Round One - META Ads Content (30).mp4

18.4s, creator in a cream jumper with a Holly Pott, peels a refill. Voiceover (machine transcript, check against the audio): "My brother got me this for Christmas last year and I'm still using it today. I love that rather than buying a whole new candle every year, I can just refill the same pot with a new scent. Over summer I was all about the fresh scents but now that we're in autumn winter, I am ready for the Christmas scents. It's just one of those gifts that genuinely keeps on giving."

R3 Set 5 · Gift videos: which present sells?3 creatives · 5 texts · 5 headlines · 1 description

Three Icicle Starter Pack videos: wrapping one for mum, "a candle lover to buy for", and a hands-only unboxing.

Why this copy: the same approved Gifting texts and headlines as Set 3 (Ad 1008), word for word. These three would be starved of spend inside the Gifting campaign today, so they get a fair start here and the winner moves across. None of the text says "hard to buy for"; that line is still held for the gifting round. Nothing new to approve here.

R3 Set 6 · Christmas scents on video: who sells the scent?4 creatives · 5 texts · 5 headlines · 1 description

Four videos that sell the Christmas scents: a creator trying all three, you on Fir, a short Noël clip, and Starlight in the Icicle Pott on a cosy evening.

Why this copy: the videos cover different scents, so every text names all three (Noël, Fir and Starlight) rather than one, which keeps a single shared pool right for every video. Round 2 tested Noël and Starlight one scent at a time and both struggled; this set asks whether selling the scents together, or you telling the story, does better. Four texts are already running on Ad 1000; one text is new, and one headline is the question from the first video.

Held back from this round3 videos · not launching

Three files from the Christmas folder that we suggest do not go into a cold Christmas test. Approve or reject them so we know whether to plan them elsewhere.

These are good videos for a different job. Tell us if you would rather run any of them now.

The three held videos

Held 1 · Video

Ailis: "Our final seasonal subscription box of 2026 is here"

FileChristmas Round One - META Ads Content (24).mp4

39s. Voiceover (machine transcript, check against the audio): "Our final seasonal subscription box of 2026 is here and it's a really good one. So normally, we just guarantee that there's at least two limited editions in. Whereas this one, you've actually got three. You've got our three best-selling festive sets in here. So first of all, you've got Noel, which is cinnamon and cloves, really, really quintessential festive scent. You've also got fir, and the only way to describe fir is that it smells exactly like a Christmas tree. And then we've got Starlight, which we describe a..." Why held: it sells the subscription box, so it belongs with subscribers and past customers (your Subscription Opt-In campaign or an email), not in a cold Christmas test.

Held 2 · Video

Ailis: "If you're sick of seeing paraffin candles or soy candles everywhere..."

FileChristmas Round One - META Ads Content (25).mp4

27.6s. Voiceover (machine transcript, check against the audio): "If you're sick of seeing paraffin candles or soy candles everywhere and you're looking for an alternative then we've got one for you. Our candles all use rapeseed and coconut wax and it's literally just a blend of rapeseed and coconut. There's no additives, there's nothing, there's no nasties in there, just rapeseed and coconut. All our candles are also refillable. So you keep your pot forever, and they just place your natural rapeseed and coconut wax candle inside it. Lovely clean burn and then you can keep the po..." Why held: it is about the wax, not Christmas, and it shows the Tomato Vine Pott. Better in a non-seasonal ad set in January.

Held 3 · Video

Ailis: "We use a wax that is quite rare at the moment"

FileChristmas Round One - META Ads Content (26).mp4

24.5s. Voiceover (machine transcript, check against the audio): "We use a wax that is quite rare at the moment, which is called rapeseed and coconut wax. We used literally just rapeseed and coconut. So there's no additives, there's no nasties in it whatsoever. It's literally just rapeseed and coconut. We use 100% rapeseed and coconut wax, and then everything we make is hand- poured here in the UK. And of course, everything is refillable. So you keep your pot forever, and you just put your rapeseed and coconut candle inside it and off you go for a really lovely clean burn." Why held: same as the one above. If you would rather run them now, they would be a fourth and fifth video for the Ailis to camera set that is already running (R2 Set 6).
